The John Weeks Band is a high energy blues band based in Denver, Colorado.  John formed the band in 2013 and they have since garnered recognition and awards as one of the top bands in Colorado.  

Here's how it works---take the blues, ship it to Europe, mix it up, shake it around, add killer groove and seriously good vocals and you get the sound and flavor of the John Weeks Band. The music is based on classic blues lines, but they take it in some unique and different directions. Put it all together and you get a seriously powerful yet melodic sound that is unique to this band.

John Weeks (guitar, vocals) was born in France and got a lot of his musical chops playing the bars and clubs of Paris in the 1990’s.

The John Weeks Band is available in duo and trio configurations as well as their standard 5-person full band show.

-The John Weeks Band is the winner of the Colorado Blues Society 2016 IBC Challenge. JOHN REPRESENTED THE COLORADO BLUES SOCIETY AT THE INTERNATIONAL BLUES CHALLENGE IN MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE AND REACHED THE SEMI FINALS IN JANUARY 2017.

-John Weeks and Moses Walker are the winners of the Colorado Blues Society 2016 IBC Challenge, solo/duo division. (This is the first time in the history of the Colorado Blues Society that the same person has won both the solo/duo and band divisions in the same year).
