The Rick Lewis Project

The Rick Lewis Project performs Colorado Groove music, a high energy blend of classic rock, blues, funk, and r&b, seamlessly blended with originals that highlight all of the members. 

The band, formed by long-time Denver Broncos radio and tv personality Rick Lewis, has been rocking Colorado and beyond since 2014.

Rick Lewis is an award winning Radio Broadcaster and has had one of the top morning radio shows in the industry for decades. He is also an Emmy and Telly winning TV Host/Entertainer. Since 2017 Rick has been the Denver Broncos Color Analyst on the Broncos Radio Network and Sirius/XM.

The Rick Lewis Project is made up of a spectacular group of musical all-stars. It features the talents of:


Sarah Hornbuckle handling the lead vocals, who makes heads turn with her stellar, powerful voice and dynamic stage presence. Rick Lewis built the band around her....she's THAT good.

uitarist Vince Converse is often recognized by the International Blues Challenge and others as a blues guitarist extraordinaire, whose 33-year career is highlighted by recording with Jeff Beck and Leslie West, as well as opening for BB King, Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Beck, George Thorogood, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy and many more.​ 

Guitarist Cody Templeman was a National School of Rock Allstar, and has played Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado six times throughout his School of Rock Career. Dave Preston on guitar has shared the stage with Jake Shimabukuro, Matt Morris, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Clarkson, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Tab Benoit. His three ambient music albums all made the charts.

Brian Hornbuckle on bass previously toured with Uncle Kracker, and performs many shows each year as a Denver music celebrity in his own right. Former marine and Denver band veteran Andrew Baca rips it up on percussion.

This showcase brings together a variety of genres, styles, arrangements, and personalities onto one stage for one unforgettable show. From classic rock to pop covers to original blues music, this show has something for everyone.
